Paul Dijkman (guitar): Paul has a broad interest in different kind of musics. This is heared and seen clearly in his playing and collaboration with o.a. World music ensemble Dyakti and the jazz/fusion band of Jeroen Vrolijk New Morning.
For Rover Quartet Paul writes intriguing and beautiful compositions on a regular base. The group consists of bass player Andreas Metzler, trumpet player Dirk Beets and drummer Franc Auf dem Brinke.
Iman Spaargaren (saxophones, clarinets) is actively involved in electric jazzgroup Captain Hook, European Union Quartet, Thelonious 4, New Generation Bigband and popband Lean On Me. He writes and plays his own music, which can be heared on the various cd's released with these groups.
In 2009 Iman played with Captain Hook at the BIMhuis (Amsterdam), in the TV program 'Vrije Geluiden' (VPRO), in radio program ‘Weekend Winfried’ (NPS Radio6) and at the theater and music festival 'De Parade'. In the same year he did a few tours with European Union Quartet. They played over 40 gigs in Belgium, The Netherlands, the UK and Ireland.
In 2008 Iman played with New Generation Bigband at the live-tv show 'Een van de Acht'. He also executed a project at a number of venues called Esquire meets Captain Hook: modern classical saxophone quartet meets jazz funk group. Some of the played music had been arranged by Iman: exiting music!
In 2007 Iman played at the North Sea Jazzfestival, at the finals of the Erasmus Jazzprijs and at the TV show ‘De wereld Draait Door’. In 2006 he and Captain Hook joined the half finals at the prestigious Dutch Jazzcompetition.
